The National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning for Mower County, along with much of southern Minnesota and Iowa.

A red flag warning means the area is affected by dry and windy conditions ripe for a dangerous fire that could spread quickly. The warning will be lifted at about 7 p.m. Wednesday.
