Austin/Albert Lea walk is April 12

A local business is about to help out the March of Dimes again this weekend.

Kuehn Motors will hold its second annual car wash from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at his store at 1508 N. Main St. to benefit the upcoming March for Babies.

“It’s a good cause,” owner Chad Kuehn said.

Freewill donations will be accepted for the car wash, and Kuehn said all the money will go to the March of Dimes.

Kuehn, whose son David was a preemie, started the car wash last year, when he brought in $500. He’s hoping for more this year. David is now a freshman at St. Cloud State University.

Kuehn Motors is also a stop on for the Austin/Albert Lea March for Babies, which takes place at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 12, starting at the Holiday Inn in Austin. Registration begins at 8 a.m. To sign up, visit www.marchforbabies.org.
