Austin Pee Wee team wins Albert Lea tournament

Austin Youth hockey’s lone PeeWee team that played at the B level is 26-9-1 overall and 7-5 in District 9 this season. The team captains were seventh graders Riley Wempner and AJ Mueller. The team took second in the Winona tournament, first in the Albert Lea tournament and second in Austin’s Tyler Brady Memorial Tournament. It took third place in the consolation tournament in district. The team’s coaches are John Kirby, Sr and Jeremy Olson, Dan Marmsoler and Brady Klingfus. -- Photo Provided
