Arleen Marie Kraft, 89, of Austin, Minn., died at Three Links Care Center in Northfield, Minn., Sunday, March 9, 2014.

Arleen was born April 29, 1924, to Felix and Katharine (Englebrecht) Biscop in Papillion, Neb. When Arleen was a child, her family moved to Minnesota and settled in the Austin area. Arleen attended Elkton High School. A member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Austin, Arleen enjoyed reading, playing trivia games and visiting with friends and family. She relocated to Three Links Care Center in Northfield Sept. 2, 2009, where she lived until her death.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Lassahn of Burnsville, Minn.; son, Randall Kraft of Kenai, Alaska; one grandson, Rich Lassahn of St. Paul, Minn.; a great grandson, Blake Lassahn of St. Paul; grand daughter-in-law, Tina Lassahn. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Russell Biscop.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, March 17, 2014, at Worlein Funeral Home in Austin with the Rev. Thomas Ogilvie officiating. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service. The family prefers memorials in memory of Arleen.
