DULUTH — Police say they’ve arrested a teenager with an airsoft gun and another male on the University of Minnesota Duluth campus.
The university issued an alert for students and staff to “shelter in place” after receiving a report about someone with a gun on campus Thursday morning. The university says the two walked into the Kirby Plaza Bus Hub about 7 a.m. and an employee saw one of them drop what appeared to be a gun. The employee called 911.
WDIO-TV says campus police arrested the two and lifted the lockdown alert.
