The Austin boys basketball team cruised past Faribault (2-20 overall, 0-14 Big Nine) 62-44 on the road Saturday.

The No. 4 ranked Packers led by as many as 34 in the win and Faribault closed the game on a 15-1 run when Austin (18-3 overall, 13-0 Big Nine) pulled its starters.

“We really played well in the first six minutes of the second half,” Austin head coach Kris Fadness said. “That was enough to carry us.”
