Grand Meadow senior Trenton Bleifus hit a major milestone but the Superlarks’ season came to an end in a 50-47 loss at No. 3 seeded Faribault Bethlehem Academy (14-13 overall) in the Section 1A West quarterfinals in Faribault Saturday.

Bleifus finished with 21 points as he scored his 1,000th career point for the No. 6 seeded Superlarks (11-14 overall).

“We picked up the pace in the second half and we pressed more,” GM head coach Bob Burmester said. “I thought the boys played extremely hard and it was fun to watch. I’m proud of our guys.”
