The Lyle-Pacelli boys basketball team lost 77-66 to Fillmore Central (10-15 overall) in Pacelli Gym Monday.

The Athletics (7-15 overall) trailed by 15 with six minutes left, but they got as close as nine points down the stretch.

“I thought we showed more maturity than what we had in the past,” LP head coach Dean DeBoer said. “I was proud of the effort tonight.”

Noah Jiskra led the Athletics with a carer-high 26 points as he hit five 3-pointers.
