The Riverland men’s basketball team lost 81-70 at Minnesota West (14-5 overall, 5-1 MCAC South) Wednesday.

Austin grad led the Blue Devils (9-11 overall, 2-5, MCAC South) with 20 points and seven rebounds and Zach Hinrichs added 11 points and 16 rebounds. RCC went just 5-for-19 on 3-pointers and 11-for-22 on free throws.

“They made free throws when they needed to and we just couldn’t make free throws,” RCC assistant coach Derek Hahn said. “It’s a game we could’ve won.”
