Dense fog advisory in effect until noon; NWS warns of slick spots on untreated roads

The National Weather Service is telling Mower County motorists to leave a little extra time for the morning commute today.
The weather service issued a special statement urging drivers allow extra time for driving, as untreated roadways may be slick after a glaze of precipitation overnight. The weather service also warned of visibilities as low as a quarter mile, and a dense fog advisory is in effect until noon.
More precipitation could be on the way, as a flurries are expected overnight into early Saturday morning. Less than an inch is expected.
