Austin senior Andrew Hagan has verbally committed to play football at Division II Southwest State University in Marshall, Minn.

Hagan will be on scholarship for football and he will also compete in shot put, discus and hammer throws for the Mustangs.

The Mustangs went 7-5 overall last season and they play in the Northern Sun Conference.
