The Austin wrestling team won one of its four duals at the seven-team North Hampton, Iowa tournament Saturday.

The Packers lost to Council Bluff-Thomas Jefferson 36-33, they beat Waukon 43-27, they lost to Southeast Polk 43-36 and they lost to Waterloo East 39-36.

“Overall I was pleased with many individual performances today,” Austin interim head coach Jer Osgood said. “As a team, we were competitive in every dual we wrestled today, but just came up short to secure the win.”

Mitch Tebay went 4-0 for the Packers, while Kole Igou, Brandon Edgar, Brandon Cotter and Nathan Brinkman all went 3-1.
