Mower talent showcased in Albert Lea show

Local actors and actresses will take the stage in Albert Lea this week, trying to drum up some Christmas spirit.
The 17th Street Players will perform “A Dickens’ Christmas Carol” at the Lighthouse Event Center in Albert Lea at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5-8 and 2 p.m. Dec. 8. Tickets will be available at Stadheim Jewelry, Hy-Vee in Albert Lea, Marshall Street Music and the Coffee House On Main in Austin.
The show features actors from Albert Lea, Austin, Adams, Elkton and LeRoy.
The cast will also perform at Le Roy School at 7 p.m. Dec. 14 as a fundraiser for the LeRoy-Ostrander Music Department.
In no particular order, the actors are Cameron Davis, Paul Burger, Ben Deines, Krista Johnson, Kris Bartley, Andie Lewis, Michael Szymanski, Chris Williams, Tom Flaherty, Blythe Johnson, Olin Davis, Peter Torkelson, Cheyenne Severtson, Susan Vickmark Torkelson and Gretta Larson.
