The Austin High School Robotics Team is programming for success for its upcoming year of research and competition.

The team will host a fundraiser from 4 p.m. to close Monday, Dec. 16, at the Austin Pizza Ranch. The team is raising funds in hopes to attend an extra competition in 2014.

AHS’ Robotics will kick off 2014 on Jan. 4, when it will begin plannning and building its robot for the competition already set in Duluth, which is in March and requires multiple teams to bring robots programmed to complete certain tasks.

The AHS Robotics program is in its sixth year. Thirty to 40 students will be in this year’s program.
