Kristine A. Burch, 65, of Austin, Minn., died Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, unexpectedly at her home.

She was born on May 5, 1948, to Jerome and Sonja (Knudsen) Olson in Albert Lea, Minn. Kristine grew up in Austin and graduated from Austin High School in 1966. She was married and later divorced. To this union, two children were born. Kristine worked at Cedar Valley Services many years. Her hobbies included knitting and fishing in northern Minnesota. She enjoyed going to the movies, listening to music and loved to laugh.

Survivors include her two children, son, Craig (Kristi) Burch, of Spring Valley, Minn.; and daughter, Gwendolyn Hays, of Faribault, Minn.; six grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn (David) Kinsey, of Harned, Ky., her soul mate and boyfriend, Ron White, of Austin; and many wonderful friends and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
