The funeral service for Glenn Edward Pesch will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 104 1st Street SE in Hayfield, Minn., with Rev. Paul Hauschild officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Hayfield, with military honors by the Hayfield American Legion Post 330.

Glenn Edward Pesch, 94, passed away on Friday morning, Nov. 8, 2013, at his home in Hayfield.

Glenn was born on Oct. 6, 1919, the son of William and Dora (Reinke) Pesch in Waltham, Minn. He attended Waltham Parochial School. He served four years in the U.S. Army.

Glenn was united in marriage to Alice Peterson (Cepelak) on June 18, 1960, in Hayfield. Glenn was a farmer and did custom corn shelling. He enjoyed his cats and dogs, taking care of the yard, going for rides and traveling.

Glenn was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hayfield.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Alice Pesch, of Hayfield; two daughters, Jane (Jerry) Struthers, of Kasson, Minn.; Joan (Paul) Christians, of Waltham; son, Jerry (Carol) Cepelak, of Hayfield; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, James (Marcia) Pesch, of Waltham; Gilbert (Phyllis) Pesch, of Kansas City, Mo.; and one sister, Delores Hahole, of St. Paul, Minn. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Norman and Clarence; one grandson, Joey Cepelak, and two sisters, Florence Blinderman and Dorothy Thole.
