I highly recommend to our people of Austin that you all NOT pass the school bond referendum on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

I suggest you wisely send your students to the Lyle School District beginning the new upcoming semester in January 2014, and during the years beyond. With open enrollment now the law, this is not only preferable but also possible.

There are so many reasons to do this, it is not possible to list them all in the space allotted. Suffice it to say that treating Austin High School’s students like prisoners instead of human beings deserving great respect is reason enough.
