Robert A. Mullenbach, 84

Robert A. Mullenbach, 84, of Adams, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013 at Wildwood Grove Assisted Living in LeRoy, Minn.

Robert was born on Aug. 5, 1929, in Johnsburg, Minn., to Joseph and Bernetta (Rauen) Mullenbach. He married Lillian Brennhofer at St. Pius Catholic Church in Rochester, Minn. on Sept. 16, 1961. Bob served in the United States Army and spent his life farming.

He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Johnsburg, Minn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Bernetta, wife Lillian, daughter Joan and brother Clarence.

Bob is survived by his children: Rita Mullenbach, Adams, Minn., Craig Mullenbach, Adams, Karen (Louis) Dion, Rose Creek, Minn., Lisa (Curt) Heimer, Adams, and Joel Mullenbach, Chicago; eight grandchildren: Danny, Mitch, Kelsey, Dillon, Jordan, Logan, Hope, and Brayden; Brother and Sister-in-law; Fritz (Martha) Mullenbach, Adams; sister and brother-in-law: Barbara (Vern) Tracy, Rose Creek; sister-in-law: Carol Mullenbach, Rose Creek; nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Johnsburg with Father Swamy Pothireddy officiating. Interment will be at St. John’s Cemetery with Adams American Legion Post 146 in charge of military rites. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home with a rosary at 4 p.m. Visitation will also be on Tuesday from 9 to 9:30 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home.
