Packer bowlers split in regular season finale

The Austin bowling team finished its regular season with a split as it beat Byron-Kasson-Mantorville and lost to Red Wing Saturday.

The Packers (9-5 overall) won game five 199-182 to beat BKM and it lost game five 211-188 to fall to Red Wing.

Logan Hegna was 9-for-10 on fills against BKM for Austin and Collin Bailey was 14-for-15 against Red Wing.

The Packers will compete in the conference tournament in Treasure Island Lanes in Red Wing Nov. 2.
