Daryl “Beetle” Dean Blowers, 72, of Phoenix, Ariz., passed away on Oct. 2, 2013. Preceded in death by parents, Lester and Erma Blowers (Christofferson). Survived by sister, Colleen Palmisano; and niece, Cheryl (Craig) DeClercq and family: Courtney (John) Kaiser, Christoffer (Teri) DeClercq, and Camille DeClercq; extended family, & many friends.

Beetle grew up in Austin, Minn., previously lived in St. Paul and Eagan, Minn. and worked for many years at Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Minnesota.

He retired to Phoenix, where he lived an active lifestyle of hiking, biking, inline skating, golf, and travel. Beetle regularly kept in contact with his many good friends throughout the country.

Celebration of life at 6 p.m. Oct. 6, at Arbor Lakes Senior Living, 12001 80th Ave N Maple Grove MN 55369. Another gathering will be planned later with his Phoenix family of friends.
