MANKATO — The Austin girls soccer team held on to beat Mankato Loyola (1-6-1 overall) 3-2 on the road Saturday.

The Packers (4-3 overall) led 3-0 late in the game, but Loyola converted two corner kicks for goals to pull within a goal.

Sam Grunewald, Grace Dehoogh and Hannah Voogd all scored goals in the win for the Packers.

“We played really good for the whole game and we had a lot of opportunities to put it in the net,” Austin head coach Enrique Camarena-Corzo said. “We’re excited to have two wins in a row.”
