Austin’s annual Halloween Warm Up is celebrating 30 years of entertaining the community.

The Jay C. Hormel Nature Center and Matchbox Children’s Theatre will host the event at the Nature Center on Friday, Oct. 4, and Saturday, Oct. 5.

Every 10 minutes, a group of 25 is led into the forest to meet the assorted spirits that reside there. Groups can select their time slots when they purchase tickets. The first hike will begin at 6:50 p.m. and the last hike will begin at 9:10 p.m.

Tickets will be on sale from Sept. 9 to Oct. 5 at Super Fresh Produce, Bakery & Garden Center at 2104 Fourth St. NW, 507-437-6554.

Ticket price is $6 per person (includes apple cider and cookie). This program is appropriate for children ages 4-11. All ages are welcome.
