Two people were treated at Mayo Clinic Health System – Austin for non-life threatening injuries Thursday after going in the ditch near LeRoy.

Chris Anderson, 69, and his wife, Anita, 68, both of Mason City, Iowa, were traveling west on Highway 56 near County Road 19 in a 2001 Chrysler Town & Country when they swerved to avoid a 2005 Ford F150 and ended up in the ditch, according to a Minnesota State Patrol report.

Twenty-six-year-old Clayton Nelson, the driver of the Ford, was not injured.

All three were wearing seat belts. Both vehicles sustained little to no damage and neither was towed, according to the report.
