Organizers say the 67th annual National Barrow Show was well attended and a success.

The four-day event featured many swine judging categories and some local successes, as well.

Kurobuta Berkshire LLC of Austin received a PORQUE award for entry sired by KURo1 Parracombe Peter Lad 14 233-6 in the Berkshire-sired progeny test.

The Hayfield FFA team placed fourth in the junior division swine judging contest; Hayfield’s Levi Anderson placed fourth in the FFA individual swine judging contest, and Tyler Trihus of Albert Lea placed seventh in the FFA individual swine judging contest. Austin FFA placed 15th in the contest.
