A 73-year-old man was found dead Saturday afternoon after duck hunting that morning.

A Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office news release states family and friends went looking for Orrie Eugene Jirele of Albert Lea after he didn’t come home. He was reportedly hunting on the northwest side of Pickerel Lake near the dam.

The Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of his death at 5:51 p.m.

Jirele was found to have died from natural causes, according to the investigation.
