Funeral Notice: Richard Clayton Scheffel, 92

Richard Clayton Scheffel, 92, of rural Lyle, Minn., died Aug. 17, 2013, at Fieldcrest Care Center in Hayfield, Minn.

Service: Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24 at Deer Creek Valley Lutheran Church, Glenville, Minn. with the Reverend Dennis Tamke officiating.

Visitation: Visitation will be on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary and at the church on Saturday for one hour before the service.

Interment: Interment will be in Woodbury Cemetery, Lyle, Minn.

Memorials: Memorials may be designated to Lyle Area Cancer or to the donor’s choice.
