Gloria Weis, formally of Austin died peacefully on Aug.19 of natural causes at Keystone Communities of Eagan. 

A private service was held on Aug. 21. She was preceded in death by her husband John “Skinny” Weis and her parents Butch and Loretta Wilde. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Marianne and Brendon Curtis, their three sons Craig, Kevin and Kyle, daughter and son-in-law Barbara Weis and Jim Crumb, daughter and son-in-law Victoria and Bob Mason, son and daughter-in-law John and Karla Weis, son Charles Weis and his children Ashley and Ben Weis. She has graciously donated her body to the Mayo Research Center in Rochester, Minn. She was a special lady with a great sense of humor, a loving mother, wife and good friend to all who knew her.

Memorials can be sent to Barbara Weis, 19162 Orchard Trail, Lakeville, MN, 55044 at which time they will be distributed to her favorite charities. This was a wish of hers.
