ST. PAUL, Minn. — Police say a 9-year-old boy playing on, or near some train tracks in St. Paul has lost both his feet.
Authorities say a passing train severed the child’s feet at the ankles. He was taken to Regions Hospital. His condition was not available.
St. Paul police spokesman Howie Padilla tells the Star Tribune the investigation is ongoing, but no foul play is suspected. He says someone called 911 to report the accident about 6 p.m. Thursday.
