Blossoms drop volleyball opener

MEDFORD — The Blooming Prairie volleyball team dropped its season opener to Medford on the road Tuesday.
The Awesome Blossoms lost by scores of 25-16, 25-21, 22-25, 25-23.
“There were a few instances in tonight’s game where I thought that the girls would shut down and let the game slide,” BP head coach Gina McLaughlin said. “That didn’t happen. I’m not excited that we found ourselves down in games 3 and 4 tonight, but I’m extremely proud of the way we rallied back and fought to stay in the game.”
Taylor Hagen had 15 kills and 13 blocks for BP.
