Austin head football coach Brett Vesel has also been hired as Austin head girls hockey coach, according to Austin High School Activities Director Lisa Quednow-Bickler.

Vesel was the JV boys’ hockey coach last winter and he was also an assistant on the track and field team in the spring.

Vesel is a graduate of Duluth Central High School and he received his teaching degree from the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
