We are writing to thank the Austin community for your continued support of the Oak Park Mall. We have recently faced financial challenges regarding delinquent real estate taxes, which we are pleased to announce have been paid.

The source of the problem has been decreased occupancy at the mall, which we believe was due to the severe economic national recession and its effect on retail store owners. Now with the economic prospects improving, we are confident that we can restore the Oak Park Mall in a fashion we can all be proud of, and that will meet the needs of the community.

We would like to thank all our friends in the community who have assisted us during this difficult period.
