Jim Zils of Libertyville, Illinois fired his first career hole in one on the Par 3 Hole No. 9 at Austin Country Club July 27.

Zils was using an 8-iron on the 145-yard hole.

The shot was witnessed by Zils’ father in law Dick Orshek of Austin.
