The Austin boys basketball team wrapped up its summer play by going 3-2 in the MIT Pacesetter Tournament in St. Cloud over the past weekend.

Austin, which was playing without point guard Zach Wessels, beat Park Rapids, Litchfield and Spring Lake Park and lost to Tartan and Forest Lake.

“Bret Lukes and Ajuda Nywesh both played well for us and they’ve both had a really good summer,” Austin head coach Kris Fadness said.

The MIT Pacesetter Tournament features some of the top high school boys basketball teams in the state.
