Southland student gets U of M science award

Southland High School student Hannah Holst received a Science Achievement Award from the University of Minnesota’s College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences, or CFANS.
The award recognizes Holst’s strong interest in science and the environment. As part of the award, she received the book “Finding the Forest,” written by college alumnus and forester Peter P. Bundy, along with a $500 scholarship upon successful enrollment in CFANS.
The award is sponsored by the CFANS Alumni Society.
