Acclaim Studio Dancers compete in Nationals

Acclaim Dancers recently competed in the Legacy National Dance Competition held in Wisconsin Dells.

Dancers from all across the Midwest competed in this five day event. Bridget Bellrichard owner/instructor of Acclaim said
“It was an honor to come home with so many awards but awards are only a small part of it,” said Bridget Bellrichard, owner and instructor at Acclaim. “Watching your dancers become confident accomplished dancers and just seeing the joy and smiles on their faces is so rewarding.”
The Elite Stars, which includes Emily Goskeson, Reba Landers, Ruthann Prigge and Addie Wagner scored a Platinum, second overall high score and high points to dance in the prestigious Showcase Showdown.
Only 10 groups in the Teen and Senior division with the top scores are asked to compete in this special Showdown.
The Starburst group, which includes Skye Anderley, Hannah Broberg, Alex Goetz, Seanna Kubus, and Hannah West scored Platinum and first over all Mini National Champions.
The Shining Stars, which include Sarah Bachmeier, Olivia Christianson, Alexi Forsberg, Brooklyn Hansen, Kory Klouse, and Emelia West scored an Elite Gold Special Judges Award for the ‘Joy of Dance’ and third place overall high score.
The Rising Stars, which include Emma Gordon, Ava Grev, Kimberly Kamp, Dominique Lenway, Haley Lenway, Mia Lindholm, Montana Riley,and Betsy Wagner scored an Elite Gold for their Jazz routine and a Gold for their Lyrical. Soloist Emily Goskeson scored a Platinum for her Ballet solo and scored a Platinum for her Lyrical as well as first over all National Champion, Addie Wagner scored Elite Gold and a special judges award for “Great Character,” Mia Lindholm scored Platinum and fifth overall, Ava Grev and Emma Gordon’s Duet scored Elite Gold and 10th overall high score and Dominique Lenway scored Elite Gold. Haley Lenway scored Elite Gold, Kimberly Kamp Scored Gold and Emma Steinbrink Scored Gold.
