Whalen Auto Repair has closed, and the business is for sale.
A sign hanging on the windowsill of Whalen Auto says the business is closed.
The business, at 801 First Ave. SW, has been closed for more than a week and empty since Tuesday, according to property owner Otto Volkert. The Whalen Auto phone number has been disconnected.
The Whalen Auto business, owned by Ron Whalen, owes at least $31,000 in federal tax liens.
Volkert said the building would be great for anyone looking to open an auto-related business. Call Volkert at 507-433-8712.
Ron Whalen did not return calls for comment.
