Stasi medals as Packer girls golfers fall to Mankato East

Austin senior Lauren Stasi won her second medal in two days when she led the field in the Packers dual with Mankato East at Austin Country Club Friday.

Stasi shot a 94, but the Packers lost 418-421 to the Cougars.
“We had a beautiful day but with all of the rain we had received earlier this week it made the course very wet,” Austin head coach Stephanie Wagner said. “The girls couldn’t get the distance that they usually do. The greens were also hard for the girls to judge.”
Steph Justice shot a 97 for Austin.
