Robert Bruce Jordal, aka Linehan, 64, of Brownsdale, Minn., died April 15, 2013, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester after a prolonged illness.

Robert was born in Minneapolis, Minn., on Aug. 30, 1948, to George and Carol (Westlund) Linehan. He spent his adulthood in or around the Twin Cities up until six years ago, when he moved to Brownsdale to help care for Sharon Wood Gerhardt until her death.

Rob was a professional welder by trade. He enjoyed collecting coins in his spare time. He enjoyed working on and doing all sorts of carpentry jobs. He completed many wood working projects throughout the neighborhood before going to the hospital. He liked fast cars, talking with friends, recalling memories of his racing days and discussing different types of old muscle cars.

Rob always had a cold one available for his friends. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his fiancé of four years, Barbara Spencer; his best friend, Lucky; his cat; special friends Bill Bachelder, Nathan Burke, Harold Cohenour, Misty Dahlk, Demian Enright, Janeava and Lily Hartson, K.J., Tara, Tiffany and Zach Sarmiento, Dawn and Kim Spencer, and Starr Tillman.

Rob requested no funeral service. A private interment will be held at a later date. May you rest in peace Rob.
