Riverland baseball team’s season comes to an end

The Riverland baseball team had its season come to an end when it swept Anoka-Ramsey by scores of 4-2 and 10-0 in Dick Selz Field Sunday.

The Blue Devils (23-12 overall, 7-7 MCAC South) missed out on the Regional Tournament, despite having the third best team ERA in NJCAA Division III.

“If we could’ve made it, we could’ve run the table, but unfortantely with our spring weather we didn’t have a postseason and just the top four teams advanced,” RCC head coach Scott Koenigs said.
