Pacelli looks to raise money through golf day, banquet

Pacelli Catholic Schools will celebrate its 34th annual Pacelli Golf Day begins at noon at Meadow Greens Golf Course on June 21 with a shotgun start. After, the school’s Hall of Fame Banquet opens with a social hour at 6 p.m. at St. Edward’s Corcoran Center.
The golf outing includes free soda, beer and hot dogs on the course, along with a new car or $1,000 in cash as hole-in-one prizes. The cost, which includes golfing, a cart and the banquet, is $90, with couples for $180. Prices for the banquet only are $30/$60.
Pacelli will use funds raised to cover extra-curricular program costs, such as bus transportation to events, equipment and uniforms, cheerleading, the Shamrock yearbook, photography equipment and more. A raffle will be part of the event.
Hall of Fame honorees this year are Joe Wagner, ‘49; Steve Lickteig, ‘58; Jerry Kurina, ‘62; Rich Decker, ‘64; Tom Rockers, ‘65; Judy Allen, ‘70; and Susan Kemmerick, ‘80.
