Choirs welcome in spring

The Austin High School Choir Department presents its annual Spring Choral Festival Concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Knowlton Auditorium.
The concert will feature concert, treble, mixed choir and vocal jazz, as well as a combined Festival Choir for a grand finale. Music will include folk songs, spirituals, Gospel, popular tunes as well as some classics.
This year’s event also features the honoring of the 2013 Austin High School Music Hall of Fame winners: Myron Haug, Allison Alcorn and David Hays.
Tickets will be available at the door, priced at $7 for adults and $5 for seniors and students.
Activity passes and season music passes will also be accepted.
