Boys golf: Austin’s Thorson medals in Century triangular

ROCHESTER — The Austin boys golf team tallied a team score of 334 as it took third at the Rochester Century triangular Thursday.
Austin senior Alex Thorson was meet medalist with a 75 and Trei Miller shot a career-best round of 85 for the Packers.
“Green Lea is really beat up from the snow last week, so course management was a big factor and I thought the boys handled it well,” Austin head coach Chris Goglewski said.
Albert Lea won the meet with a 311 and Century posted a 325.
