A Mower County Sheriff’s deputy arrested three men in Mapleview Monday night after a resident reported an alleged theft.

A deputy found the men in a vehicle at County Road 7 and 230th Street after he recognized one of the suspects. According to the sheriff’s report, the men stole a microwave, washing machine, TV, DVD player and cast-iron table with glass top from a home on Clinton Street in Mapleview.

Several of the items have been returned to the owner. All men were placed in the Mower County jail and await formal charges.
