The third annual Austin High School Strides for a Cure 5K run/walk will be held Saturday, May 18 at Todd Park. Kickoff is at 8:40 a.m. and the race begins at 9 a.m.

The AHS Youth Leadership group puts on the event, which raises money for breast cancer research at The Hormel Institute.

Registration forms are available at the cashier’s office at AHS or at stridesforacure.webstarts.com. The cost is $20 for adults and $15 for students, with prices $5 higher after May 3. Children ages 12 and younger who would like to participate in the children’s race pay $10.
