Austin resident Jacob Crosby is participating in the Northwestern College Choir and Orchestra Spring 2013 Tour. The tour itinerary includes shows throughout March in Osakis, Alexandria, Roseville and Fargo, N.D.

Jacob is a 2012 graduate of Austin High School and is currently a junior pursuing a degree in music education.

The orchestra’s repertoire includes works by Johannes Brahms, Edvard Grieg and Antonin Dvorak, while the college choir will perform hymns, gospel music and spirituals. Together, the combined ensembles will perform “Meteor Shower” by Owl City’s Adam Young and selections from Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “Five Mystical Songs.” Concert details can be found online or please contact the Northwestern College music tours office at 651-631-2080.
