On Saturday, the Austin High School Science Olympiad team will travel to the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul to compete at the state level for the fourth straight year.

The team placed fifth in the regional competition Feb. 2 at the University of Minnesota-Rochester. The members medaled in a record six events.

Science Olympiad is an international organization that focuses on increasing student interest in science.
