Stevens scores game-winner as Packer hockey team wins in OT

WINONA — The Austin boys hockey team snapped a seven game losing streak when it beat Winona (7-14-1 overall, 2-12 Big Nine) 4-3 in overtime Saturday.
Trevor Stevens took a back-door pass from Marcus Stoulil and scored a goal to win the game in overtime.
“The boys really wanted this one,” Austin head coach Erik LaRock said. “We’ve been in a lot of close games this year and it was nice to win one.”
The game was the last of nine straight road games for the Packers (6-14-1 overall, 3-10 Big Nine), who will now play three straight at home.
Rainer Londino-Green had 32 saves for the Packers, who had 26 shots on goal.
Stevens finished with two goals for Austin, Stoulil had a goal and two assists, Ethan Larson had a goal and Dan Larson had one assist.
