Robert Michael Anderley, 58, of Austin, Minn., died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, after a long battle with chronic lung disease.
Bob was born Jan. 26, 1955, in Austin to Virgil and Arlene Anderley. He was a CNC machinist for numerous companies. He had a passion for drawing and painting, loved to fish, ride bike, play basketball with his nieces and nephews, and he played a mean air guitar.
Bob loved his many friends and had a generous spirit and kindness to those in need. He will be sadly missed by all.
Survivors include his daughters, Amber Anderley and Kham Chandy, Austin, Katie Anderley, Mankato, Minn.; granddaughter, Kasey Chandy, Austin; parents, Virgil and Arlene Anderley, Austin; siblings, Jerry and Mary Anderley, Maplewood, Minn., Dianne and John Ludvigsen, Austin, Minn., David Anderley, Minneapolis, Joan and Michael Hinks, Shelbyville, Ill., Dennis and Dottie Anderley, Austin, Minn., Lisa and Ted Conradt, Lyle, Minn.; nieces and nephews; special friends, Thomas Barrett, Jackie Witt, Dave King.
He is preceded in death by his ex-wife, Bonnie Anderley; niece, Amy Ludvigsen; grandparents.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at Queen of Angels Catholic Church. There will be a 7 p.m. wake service on Thursday at Mayer Funeral Home where friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. and also 1/2 hour before the service at the church on Friday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Condolences may be left online at www.mayerfh.com.
