The Riverland Community College men’s basketball game struggled on offense throughout the night as it lost to Ridgewater (11-13 overall, 5-6 MCAC South) in Riverland Gym Wednesday.

The Blue Devils (12-12 overall, 5-6 MCAC South), who are now tied with Ridgewater for the fourth and final spot in the state tournament, pulled to within 56-50 when Andrew Lau hit a three with 5:41 left in the game.

The Warriors responded as Zak Pendleton drilled a three and RCC never got closer than nine the rest of the way.

RCC’s top scoring trio of Zach Bunch, Andrew Lau and Marcus Ratliff combined for just 29 points in the loss.
