RCC women fall to Fergus Falls

FERGUS FALLS — The Riverland women’s basketball team committed 37 turnovers as it lost 65-47 to Fergus Falls (8-9 overall, 3-2 MCAC South) on the road Wednesday.

Rebekah Aase had 21 points and 13 rebounds for the Blue Devils (11-7 overall, 1-3 MCAC South).

“We had poor ball control and we need to do the little things to win on the road,” RCC head coach Suzy Hebrink said.

Aase was recently named MCAC Southern Division player of the week for the fourth time this season.

Aase had 24 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks per game last week, while going 20-for-41 from the field.
